Total Technicians Athlete Training
The Mission of Total Technicians Athlete Training Corporation is to serve youth and their families by promoting the development of strong individuals and families in their communities. This is accomplished through education, therapeutic approaches, advocacy, and the utilization of community resources.
Founded In 2006 by a single African American female mother, concerned with the rising level of juvenile delinquency, drug and alcohol use, gang affiliation, and violence; T.T.A.T. was formed with the primary purpose of providing counseling, academic tutoring, leadership development, peer-to-peer mentoring, paid summer work experience and support to at-risk, low income children, youth, and their families who face significant barriers to educational achievement and employment. Since inception, T.T.A.T. has been eliminating barriers and creating opportunities for its clients.
FOUNDER: From Where I Started….Employed by one of Hollywood’s Most Famous Studio (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer) a turn for the worst came when I got laid off from my job and all the dreams I was looking to come true for my life went out the door. Through our array of comprehensive and holistic programs, 75 youth and their families receive the support needed to develop the skills, education, and work experience to successfully transition to college, careers and productive adulthood. We envision all youth as leaders of our community. Our programs are researched based with focus on ‘‘benchmark’ excellence
